Boise Schools Recognize Exceptional AP Capstone & Research Certificate Honorees
|
Boise, ID -- 10/27/2025 -- The Boise School District proudly recognizes an exceptional group of students who have earned the AP Capstone Diploma or the AP Seminar and Research Certificate—two of the highest academic distinctions awarded by the College Board.
These honors reflect years of dedication and achievement in the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, which prepares students for college and career success through rigorous coursework, collaboration, and research. To earn the AP Capstone Diploma, students must score 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research, as well as on four additional AP exams. The AP Seminar and Research Certificate recognizes students who have successfully completed the two core AP Capstone courses.
“Students who earn these awards demonstrate not only academic excellence but also the ability to think critically, communicate effectively, and tackle complex, real-world issues,” said Lisa Roberts, Superintendent of the Boise School District. “Their success is a testament to their perseverance and the support of our dedicated teachers who help inspire and guide them every step of the way.”
The Boise School District continues to be a statewide leader in Advanced Placement participation and performance, offering an extensive array of AP courses. This achievement underscores the District’s ongoing commitment to its Strategic Plan—ensuring that every student graduates prepared for college, career, and citizenship.
Below are the names and photos of the Boise School District students who have earned these distinguished honors for 2025 (the students are shown in alphabetical order by last name, along with their current grade level or graduation status).

About Advanced Placement Program
College Board’s Advanced Placement® Program (AP®) gives students the opportunity to take challenging college-level courses while still in high school. Earning a score of 3 or higher on an AP Exam has multiple benefits for students, including earning college credit, advanced placement in college courses, or both, saving them time and money. Research shows AP students are better prepared for and more likely to enroll and remain in college, do well in classes, and earn their degrees on time. Each exam is developed by a committee of college and university faculty and AP teachers, ensuring that AP Exams align with their high standards.
In partnership with the higher education community, College Board developed AP Capstone courses to help students build and master skills essential for success in college and career.
